Rock Camp Compose & Rock Camp Cover
In our growing series of Shire Rock Camps here comes our Spring Break series at the Forest Grove Studio in North Burnaby. We are offering 2 Rock Camps from March 16th-20th. Both camps continue the Shire Music tradition of fun, creativity, music appreciation, being in a band and exploring instruments but each camp will have a slightly different focus. These camps are for kids in grades 2-7.
Rock Camp Compose (9:30am-12:00pm) – Grade 2-7
This morning camp will have a composition and song writing focus with bands working on, recording and performing original music. Kids must have had prior music lessons or have attended a Shire Music Camp in the past.
Rock Camp Cover (1:00pm-3:30pm) – Grade 2-7
This afternoon camp will focus on playing with a band, arranging music, recording, and performing past and modern cover songs. No prior musical experience necessary. All are welcome to rock out to covers.
In both camps all kids will gain experience in drums, guitar, piano, percussion and singing as well as go home with a beloved band poster.
Camps are $85 each and there are limited spaces. Please email me if you are interested, have any questions or to register.
