What is happening at Connect Fest?
The Neighbourhood Church is hosting a Collaborative Mural-Making site in partnership with Connect Fest Burnaby.
Our vision is to bring beauty and brightness to the Edmonds Neighbourhood while cultivating community in our city. To do this we want to create a mural that addresses the theme of peace.
At Connect Fest, a projected 200 citizens of Burnaby will participate in a day of cultural celebration, creative art-making, and community building. Join us as we transform a graffiti-tagged wall into a beautiful mural!
When and where is it happening?
TIME: Sunday April 28th!
- 11:00am-12:30pm: The Neighbourhood Church Worship Gathering
- Come get a taste of our what it means for us to worship as a church. There will be singing, storytelling, and a short teaching time.
- 1:00-3:00pm: Pursue the Peace Mural Painting
- Join us as we transform a graffiti-covered wall into a beautiful mural!
