Following Jesus into a life of mission means proper thinking which leads to right living: information and application. In our Together in Mission (T.i.M.) learning experience, we come together to learn from the Teachings of Jesus so that we might go and walk in the Way of Jesus, thereby joining Him on mission. Each T.i.M. class will broaden our understanding of one of our Five Values and give us practical tools for living it out in our community.
Our next Together in Mission class is January 18, 2020 at Edmonds Town Centre Campus with guest speaker Mark Glanville.
Drawing from both his extensive research into the book of Deuteronomy, and his experience as a Pastor at Grandview Calvary Church in Vancouver, Mark will be leading this one day seminar to help Mission Group Leaders and Members to partner with God in serving their neighbourhoods. The emphasis will be on how we as God’s people practice community at its greatest depth, where we involve others who may at times be thought of as strangers. The book of Deuteronomy is filled with encouragement for God’s people to act as hosts and to welcome others to the table.
