Several years ago, Out of the Cold emerged from a longing to not just have a fun holiday event, but recognize the story of hope that God invites us to participate in very tangibly in the very places we live and beyond.

This Christmas, as we stay warm in our homes, there are many who are sleeping on the streets. As we prepare dinner for our families, there are many in our very neighbourhood who are looking for food. As we tuck our kids into bed, there are children in Albania who are longing for a hug. Join us for an afternoon Christmas Market and evening Dessert Theatre to celebrate the hope of Christmas and participate in tangible acts of generosity supporting a number of great organizations in Burnaby, Surrey and Albania seeking to bring hope to our world.

Christmas Market

New to this year's Out of the Cold is a free neighbourhood Christmas Market from 3-6pm. Bring family and friends to stroll the booths, enjoy holiday treats and purchase quality good from local artisans and businesses, all for a good cause!

Saturday, December 16: 12642 100 Ave, Surrey
Sunday, December 17: 7135 Walker Ave, Burnaby

Christmas Dessert Theatre

This year we present a desert theatre that follows the journey of the Wise Men and also asks us questions of what we are searching for this Christmas. There will be laughs, music, thoughtful moments and, of course, dessert. There will also be a silent auction and the Christmas Market will continue to support local and international causes.
